'Un matrimoni de Boston'

Somni Productions presents this theater piece written by David Mamet (Chicago, 1947) and translated into Catalan by Joan Sellent. The production is directed by Rafel Duran and starring actresses Lluqui Herrero (Anna), Agnès Llobet (Claire) and Maria Bauçà (the maid).

Three female characters trying to survive in the Puritan society of the late nineteenth century, marked by Victorian morality. For director Rafel Duran, Un matrimoni de Boston  can be considered a hybrid between The Bostonians (1886) by Henri James and an acid comedy by Oscar Wilde.

It is represented in the Teatre Municipal Xesc Forteza de Palma in the program of the Fiestas de Sant Sebastià 2015.
